D. Andrew Batsche serves as the Judge of the Mason Municipal Court, where he has served since his initial election in 2008. He has been re-elected three times, most recently in 2025.

A lifelong resident of Mason & Deerfield Township, Ohio, Judge Batsche graduated from Mason High School in 1989. He went on to attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1993. He then obtained his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Before taking the bench, Judge Batsche practiced law at Batsche & Batsche, a private law firm in Mason. His practice focused on probate, domestic relations, and criminal defense. In addition to his private practice, he served as a law clerk and public defendant in Warren County Court and Warren County Common Pleas Court, gaining extensive experience in both trial practice and the day-to-day workings of the justice system.

Judge Batsche has been married to his wife Desiree, for 28 years, and together they have raised 2 children. Both his children are Mason H.S. graduates and AJ (23), is a student at Miami University and currently deployed with the U.S. Army Reserve and Annie (20) a student at the University of Tennessee at Martin and member of their Division I Equestrian team. As a lifelong resident of Mason, he takes pride in serving the community in which he grew up and continues to call home.
