The Mason Municipal Prosecutor’s office has a traffic diversion program to help drivers avoid points being placed on their driving record. To qualify for this program, you must be charged with a minor misdemeanor traffic offense (that did not involve a crash) and have a good driving record.

Bring the following with you to court:

1. Driving Record Abstract
   1. Request Ohio Driver's Record Abstract
2. Completed Driving Course Certificate
   1. Advent Learning Courses
      1. Take the 1 hour “Traffic Safety” course
   2. Distracted Driving Safety Course
      1. Take this course if you are charged with Ohio revised code section 4511.204 or 4511.991
3. Proof of Valid Insurance, if not shown at traffic stop
